A Fairy Godmother And Three Wishes

I recently asked this question on Facebook: If you had a fairy godmother, what three – fun and TOTALLY indulgent – things would you wish for?

I’d wish for a “reading room” with Adirondack chairs in my backyard, a trip to Alaska to watch wildlife, and the ability to paint flowers. Do share, ladies!!

Melanie Sue Bowles TOTALLY indulgent? A live-in chef (HATE to cook, but cook every night), at least one spa day every single month (I’m nearly 60 and have only had ONE in my life), and a live-in chef… oh, did I already mention that?

Danee Marquand Hayungs Indulgent? 1) enough money to live very comfortably for the rest of my life without working. Genesis Rogers-Lewis I would love to be paid to read and review book, of course. Be a crazy grandma to many grandchildren. And my husbands motorcycle wreck would have never happened so the daily suck of it for him would be puff gone.

Mich Lueken I would absolutely love a house on an island just like the house Chalese had in Whale Island, with a small farm. To never, ever have to work at a job I detest again, just to make ends meet. And to be able to have the time and money to take my family to wonderful places on great adventures.

Rhodia Thompson-Gill I’d wish for more time with my mom (really missing her). I’d have a lovely beach house on Isle of Palms, SC. My daughter’s would have their heart’s desires and my husband and I would be able to travel at will, while having enough money to live very comfortable without worry/stress (peaceful).

Alice Gutshall When one is in poor health, Health feels like it would be self indulgent. I wish to be able to move again like I did when I was 30. I cannot move, sit, stand or lay down without constant pain. Hardly the self sufficient person you knew a few years ago.

Ronnie Pelletier A functioning indoor toilet and laundry down at our cabin so I could live there year round, the ability to take pictures of the wildlife on our 100 acres that does them justice and the discipline to sit down and write everyday – first instead of last!
